BCA’s 5K For Hope
Gather your friends, family and colleagues to walk or run for a cause the resonates with everyone. On the first Sunday in May, organize a 5K in your town or city to bring awareness to BCA’s essential mission: raising awareness about, and funding for its life-saving work in breast cancer.
Is there a local track, waterside running path or favorite hiking trail friends or family would run or walk with you? Are there brands or companies with whom you have contacts that might want to get involved as a sponsor or by donating beverages or snacks or promotional items?
This special family friendly event is a great opportunity to encourage local businesses to support BCA’s work, or to run/walk alongside you.

Project Pink
Help bring your community together in October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The centerpiece of Project Pink is to transform your town into a vibrant symbol of support for breast cancer awareness. For a $100 donation, you can work with your Chamber of Commerce to adorn lampposts in your downtown area, or mailboxes in your neighborhoods. Individuals can dedicate a lamppost or mailbox in honor or in memory of a loved one, or simply to express support for the cause. The goal is to have each lamppost or mailbox adorned with a pink ribbon throughout the whole month of October as a symbol of our shared hope to eradicate this disease.
Swing for Pink
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the US! Play to win AND support BCA in the process. Put together a team at your local rec center, public or private courts and invite friends, of all ages, for a friendly match. You can play pickleball any day of the week, anytime of year. Purchase pink pickleballs and equipment below to enhance the fun!
Before your event we can send you a QR code to have on display for players to donate in return for playing in the game. Exercise plays such an important role both in breast cancer prevention and recovery, so this is the perfect way to do something healthy for yourself and for others.
Not a pickleball player? These sports work just as well and have fun gear as well:
Paddleball
Tennis
Golf
Shuffle Up for Pink
Are cards or tile games more your speed? Use your bridge, canasta or mahjong hobbies to support BCA. Sell jokers, donate your kitty, ask for donations to join your club game. The options are endless! You can play any day of the week, anytime of year.
