Support

No one should have to go through breast cancer alone. That is the overriding principle behind BCA One-to-One.

Our goal is to provide emotional and practical support, not medical advice; not to make medical decisions, but to support them…to offer friendship, to listen, to understand fears and offer a sounding board when one is feeling overwhelmed.  Of course our online resources page can be accessed by anyone, with anonymity, at any time.

If you or anyone you may know is looking to connect with a survivor, or you are a survivor and would be willing to mentor others, please contact the Breast Cancer Alliance at info@breastcanceralliance.org.

The Junior League of Greenwich recently started a Young Women’s Breast Cancer Support Group. This peer-to-peer style support group is the first and only support group of its kind in Fairfield County designed specifically for young women diagnosed with breast cancer in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. The group meets monthly and is open to young women at any stage in their journey. This comfortable and supportive setting is a place to connect with other young women in the community and find out about local services available to breast cancer patients and survivors. Meetings are free and open to all young women diagnosed with breast cancer regardless of where you are in your journey.

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every month at 7:30 p.m.

Junior League of Greenwich Headquarters, 231 E. Putnam Ave., Greenwich, CT.

If you are interested in attending, please express your interest via a private and confidential email to: youngwomenbreastcancer@gmail.com
